The late bus out of Keswick is a pain - the earlier one leaves at 13:20 and so can't be made. However it does give a good buffer - arriving in Kendal as late as 15:40 ought connect but the 14:40 Stagecoach 555 would be the most prudent alternative.
The connection in Kirkby Lonsadale is tight but an alternative would be the very slightly later 12:38 Stage Coach 81 as 12:40 into Lancaster and connect with the 14:15 (from Lancaster) arriving in Keswick at 17:14, leaving a tight connection for the Carlisle bus.
Let's just hope the KL 580/581 is on time

The bus situation to Cummersdale is difficult and unlikely to run in the evening (it is hard to work out the weekend routes as buses seemed to bge routed differently). It may be walking or taxi.
