Comments

The goal is to get to Coventry early and spend a couple of hours exploring Coventry Cathedral - been on my "want to visit" list since my teens. The X18 is every 30 minutes so the short changeover at Evesham has an alternative which sees us into Coventry 30 minutes later. The X6 is only every couple of hours and thev 17:55 is the last one but the Stagecoach 48 is an alternative which runs about every 20 minutes despite taking an hour longer to reach Leicester. However the last 48 into Leicester leaves Coventry at 17:30. Not the end of the world if we miss that last 48 or X6, as the 48 runs later into Hinckley where we can connect with the Arriva Sapphire 158.

We might want to strive for the 16:15 X6 which would get us into Leicester at 17:55.
